S'Rae Alberts Obituary
S'Rae ALBERTS S'Rae Alberts, noted portrait art ist, passed away January 5, 2011, at the Foss House in Seattle. Born Shirley Rae Stronach in Cheney, WA, she would have been 92 in March. A celebration of her life will be held at Evergreen Washel li, 11111 Aurora Ave North, May 14, at 2 P.M., in the chapel. She is survived by her nieces Peggy Conley and Jan Conley Waldrup, her nephew Steve Conley, and many great nieces and nephews and friends. We all cherished her and will miss her terribly! I did not know S’Rae personally but always wanted to meet her. My Dad named me after her. He was from Canada but also lived in Seattle. It is fitting that I am an artist. She sounded like a talented, generous and wonderful person. S’rae Russo, Seattle WA
