Stephen Koper Obituary

Stephen J. Koper

Stephen J Koper, age 63 passed away in Seattle, WA. He was born in Troy, New York, but has been a resident of Renton and most recently Elma, WA. Stephen served in the Navy prior to working for Boeing for 34 years as a Technical Designer. Stephen was preceded in death by Juanita Batson, his long time partner of 22 years and his father, Chester. He is survived by his mother, Mary, his brother, Bob and his wife Terrye, his brother, Art, his sister, Carolyn, his sister-in-law, Earlene, his nephew, David and his wife Kayla, his aunts Bo and Bea, his beloved cat, Max and many cousins and friends. Steve loved taking long walks on the beach, playing one of his many flutes and being with and talking with his friends. Steve left us too soon and will be greatly missed by his family and his friends.

The family requests that memorial gifts be made in support of the Cardiovascular Therapies Fund at UW Medicine. Checks should be made payable to the "UW Foundation" and mailed to UW Medicine Advancement, Attn: Gift Processing, Box 358045, Seattle, WA 98195-8045.
