Theodore Triezenberg Obituary

Theodore Paul TRIEZENBERG February 5, 1928 ~ March 29, 2011 Ted went to be with the Lord at the age of 83, with his beloved wife of 62 years at his side. He was born in Michigan, and moved to the Pacific Northwest in 1945. He has resided in Seattle since 1950. He is survived by his wife, Wilma, and children Patricia and Bill Bond; Don and Bonnie Triezenberg; Ted and Rhonda Triezenberg, and Ruth and Ken Peterson. Also surviving are his 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by his family and all those who knew and loved him. Ted will be remembered for his deep and abiding faith in his Lord and Savior, which translated into love for his family and service to his church. He was a member of the Ballard Lions Club for over 50 years. He was also involved with Gideons International. A private graveside service was held on Friday, April 1, and a celebration of his life will be held at2:00 p.m. on April 16 at the First Christian Reformed Church of Seattle, 14555 25th Ave NE, Shoreline, WA. Memorial gifts can be made to Gideons International or Shoreline Christian School. The family extends a special thanks to Evergreen Hospice of Kirkland for their wonderful care for Ted during the last weeks of his life.

I was saddened to hear of Ted's passing. He always had a ready smile for me. May you be comforted in knowing he was a child of our God, and is with Him in heaven.
