Uff da! Harry, this page popped up on my laptop, and I see just my name was listed and no message. So I'll try again. Harry, I will always remember you and Tordis coming into Royal Travel where I helped you with your travel arrangements to Norway. And we soon became good friends. You attended my wedding at the Bothell Sons of Norway. Good memories of you two. God Bless You!

Harry continues to survive you and is doing well. We talk often, sometimes weekly and before the pandemic we saw Harry every few months. You'd hate the pandemic Tordis. Harry misses you greatly and talks of you often. From our part as the children of your neighbor Margaret, we greatly appreciate the support you offered our mother when it was needed. I will always remember the joy of life in your face always, the smile and happy eyes reflecting your joy of being with people that you cared about. You passed on 10 years and days after my mother, so now each year I think of you too around the 2nd week of October. We were all blessed to have known you. David Haugen for the entire Haugen Family.

I am so glad that I had a chance to see you again for the last time unfortunately, about August 11th or 12th of 2018 at the Norse Home dedication to you for the garden fountain and pond renovation. It was good to talk with you and I was so glad that you recognized me. The Haugen family appreciates your support of our mother while you lived up the street. Rest in Peace our dear friend. We are saddened by the passing of our great family friend Tordis. For 45 years, it was our joy to know Tordis and her husband Harry, neighbors to our mother in Shoreline. Tordis and Harry were helpful as our extended family looking after our mother when we were not able to be there or when we feared and emergency. Getting to know Tordis more over those years was wonderful for us as we found a friend offering unconditional support and love to us all with her great joy and a passion and love of life. The entire Haugen Family is glad we had a chance to know Tordis and we will always love her as part of our extended family and will miss her. Rest in Peace our dear, dear friend.

My dog Olive and I loved visiting Tordis at Norse Home. She used to speak in Norwegian to all the therapy dogs, and I swear they understood her. I'm so glad we got to know her.

You will be in my heart forever. I couldn't have had a better mother-in-law! And you were an amazing Grandma to our children and grandchildren. Thank you for sharing your Norway with them. Love, Nancy
