He worked for many years as head chef of the China Doll Restaurant in Everett until he retired in May 1996. Also surviving him are long time friend Sau Ping Tow, step daughters Cheryl Discher and Pam Hutchison, ex-wife Linda, 5 step grandsons and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews whom he all loved very, very much. He was a great Papa, Dad, Brother, Brother-In-Law, Uncle and Great Uncle who liked the simple things in life and truly enjoyed time with family and friends. He was loved by everyone he met. His infectious smile, gentle ways and big, kind heart will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Thank you to the staff and nurses at Bethany of Silver Lake and workers and volunteers at Providence Hospice of Snohomish County. At his request there will be no service.
