Vera Gooch Obituary

Vera P. GOOCH Died Tuesday, May 3, 2011. She was 99 years old. She was born in North Ogden, Utah February 11, 1912 to Lettie Grace Warren Clark and Joseph A. Clark. She had an incredible belief in God and always set a powerful example for her posterity. Vera had three children: Lamont Gooch of Auburn WA, Claire Meier of Fort Mill, SC and Sandra Richardson of Fall City WA. She also has 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. The legacy she left with her family and grandchildren was work hard, be honest with your fellowman, total commitment with your word and forgiveness of others. Vera Gooch never struggled with living her gospel values. She made a lot of her own clothes, braided rugs, made quilts and knitted sweaters. She was very talented and efficient. We always had hot homemade bread and a meticulously clean house. Vera was loved by all and will be missed. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 11th at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 10675 NE 20th Street in Bellevue, WA. The showing will be at 10AM and the service will begin at 11AM.
