Vern, I wish I took the chance to catch up more after all these years since high school. I don’t have a particular memory that stands out, but what I really remember about you was that I always felt better about myself after talking with you; a rare quality. You are missed.

Wow, what a shock. I worked with Vern at VMC and he was always a joy to work with. He always made us laugh and had such a big giving heart. He will be truly missed. My sincere condolence to his family.
