Preceded in death by his loving wife of 27 years, Diane K. Marquardt. Veryl is survived by his devoted companion, Nancy Kane; son Mark (Wendy) Marquardt of Mountlake Terrace, WA and daughter Lori (Brian) Leake of Clifton Park, NY. He is also survived by his sister Bernice Grey and sister-in-law Annette Schmiedeker, both of MN. The ultimate pride and joy of Veryl's life were his 3 grandsons, Karson, Daylon and Jaxon Marquardt.
Veryl loved hunting, fishing and cooking. He devoted many years volunteering as a coach for youth football, baseball and basketball in North Seattle. Veryl had retired from the Hod Carriers & Labor Union Local 242 after more than 30 years.
By Veryl's request, there will be no service or visitation hours held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests your consideration of a memorial donation to the

Veryl will be loved and missed by so many.
