Virginia MARTY Obituary

Virginia MARTY Born June 21, 1924 in St. Paul, MN; passed away February 11, 2011 in Burien at age 86. Virginia was a long-time Volunteer (since 1985) at Highline Hospital in the Gift Shop, as well as a Messenger and Desk Captain. She also served as the Treasurer of the Volunteer Organization and was a member of the Executive Committee and Governing Board. She also enjoyed traveling, enjoying visits to Mexico, Hawaii and Arizona. She is survived by her loving daughters, Linda A. (& Bruce Johnson) Marty, Theresa M. Marty, and Stephanie J. (& Gregory) Hall. Our Mom will be greatly missed. Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 18; 2:00 p.m. at Evergreen-Washelli Funeral Chapel 11,111 Aurora Ave N, Seattle. Committal, Evergreen Memorial Park. Memorial contributions in Virginia's name suggested to Highline Hospital Volunteer Organization, Burien. Please sign an on-line memorial at washelli.com.

Love you mom. I find myself picking up the phone to call you to share what's happening. So glad you made it to Scottsdale for our 2nd annual Halloween get together. So sorry there won't be a 3rd or more.
