I met Vivian in about 1978 when my husband and I built a house in Youngstown. She encouraged us to get involved in our community to make it better. She was a vivid inspiration - I have always called her my political mother! May she rest in peace and may her legacy live on.

I first met Vivian at a PTA meeting at Cooper school in 1961. She had the meeting full of fun. She was a good friend to all in the Delridge area and we will miss her.
