Yeon Ja KING Yeon Ja King, 67, of Seattle, Washington, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, March 26, 2011, surrounded by family and friends. She was born April 2, 1943, in Osaka, Japan to Jum-Su Lee and Ok-Cha Lee. Shortly after her birth, they moved to Incheon, South Korea where she lived until 1978. She was the oldest of 5 sisters. Mrs. King was a loving and proud mother to her only child, Dianne Lee King. She was an avid gardener and could always be found working in her garden and yard on a sunny or rainy day. Although she lived in Seattle, Mrs. King travelled often to South Korea to enjoy her family. Mrs. King moved to Seattle, Washington in 1978 where she married James O. King on September 14, 1978, who preceded her in death December 1996. She is survived by her only daughter, Dianne King of Seattle, 4 sisters who currently reside in South Korea and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at the Evergreen Washelli Chapel on April 1, 2011 at 10 AM. Viewing will be from 9:00 - 9:30 a.m. Interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Park.
