George NEMETH Obituary
Passed on into the Lord's welcoming arms on October 29, 2013 at the age of 87 with his loving family by his side. He was born in Hungary February 11, 1926 and immigrated to America in 1956; settling in Seattle. He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Ilona Nemeth; his son, George Nemeth Jr.; his daughter, Susan Hoffman, and son-in-law, Steve Hoffman; brother, Antal Nemeth; and grandchildren, John Nemeth and Stephanie Hoffman; as well as many more family and friends. George will be missed dearly and his generous ways and strong love for family and friends will always be remembered. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, November 9, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 814 N. E. 85th St., Seattle. Interment will take place at 12:30 p.m. at Holyrood Catholic Cemetery, 205 N. E. 205th St., Shoreline.

I was very sorry to read about Mr. Nemeth Sr.'s passing in The Seattle Times. I met him a couple of times. For example, his son George and I attended the same schools, and I spoke with his father at George Jr's wedding many years ago. He came across as a very loving family man. Ilona and the family are in my prayers.
