Mary E. Sullivan Obituary
Mary E. Sullivan

May 4, 1926 ~ February 17, 2014

Born in Tacoma, WA to John W. and Anne L. Harrington, died peacefully surrounded by family in Seattle. Survived by Tom, her loving husband of 65 years; her grateful children, Tim (Esther), Sean (Carol), Anne Monica (Denis), Terry (Patty), Kelly, and Kevin (Linda); 8 Grandchildren; 5 Great-Grandchildren; her sister, Cathy; and brothers, Jack Harrington (Pat) and Pat Harrington (Mary). Mary blessed her family as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Mary was a longtime and active member of St. Benedict (previous) and Christ the King Parishes (current). After retirement Mary enjoyed her volunteer time in the parish office at Christ the King. She lived a life for others and gave countless hours to the Association for Catholic Childhood, the Georgetown Food Bank and assisted in Katrina Relief with multiple trips to New Orleans. Mary loved to travel and enjoyed several vacations to Europe with her husband Tom. She often acknowledged her good fortune to have traveled to all 50 states. Mary will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Association for Catholic Childhood.

Mary's family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Foss Home, who so lovingly cared for Mary over the last two years. Recitation of the Rosary will be Sunday, February 23rd at 6:30 PM and the Funeral Mass will be Monday, February 24th at 11:00 AM BOTH at Christ the King Catholic Church 405 N 117th St, Seattle 98133.
