Jean R. Richards|
March 6, 1923 ~March 25, 2014
Jean's heart belonged to a variety of interests, however, the three she held dearest, were her beloved home and community of Edmonds, where she enjoyed all it had to offer from social life to ferries and trains to the sights and sounds of the beach and the views of the Olympics and Mt. Baker. Another passion was her beloved summer home at Lake Cavanaugh, where for 53 years she enjoyed all the outdoors had to offer, from campfires to wildlife to water activities. However, what held the most important part of her heart was her family, to whom she devoted 68 years to making sure holidays and special events were made memorable, always going the extra mile to please. She is survived by son Gary Richards (Candace), daughter Randee Richards, grandchildren Kira Richards and Ian Richards, and great-grandson Damon Richards-Mose.
Remembrances can be made to the Edmonds Center for the Performing Arts or Seattle Medic One or Medic Two Foundations.
