Rory Crispin, a resident of Bellevue, Washington died in the early morning hours of May 6, 2014 of sudden cardiac arrest while exercising at a gym in Issaquah. CPR was administered immed-iately but he was non-responsive. An autopsy was performed.
Rory Michel Crispin was born September 24, 1959 in Portland, Oregon. He is a 1982 graduate of Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science Mechanical Engineering degree.
Rory spent the next twenty five years in the Aerospace industry as a contract engineer with Northrup, Lockheed, and Boeing. His experience included design concept layouts, production documents of fuselage structures, and systems design.
In the last several years, Rory spent much of his time as an interested participant and a volunteer with the shoreline community on the East side of Lake Sammamish. He was an avid student of real estate law as it pertained to the waterfront property and water management. He was a key contributor to the Homeowners Association efforts to effect favorable changes to various procedures and ordinances. Rory received a great deal of satisfaction from this work.
Rory is survived by his parents, Eleanor, and George; his brothers, Eric, Karl, and Todd. Uncles, Dennis, and Patrick, and Aunt Mary Clare; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He will be long remembered.
Cremation services were handled by Sunset Hills Funeral Home of Bellevue. A private memorial for family members will be held in the near future.
