I am very saddened today as I just found out about Charles passing.. I was a co-worker of Charles with the City of Seattle. We had a lot of great conversations whenever he would stop by my office to say hi on the way to a meeting. He spread good will wherever he went. He tried to put a smile on the face of everyone he met. I missed him when he moved to Chelan. I miss him more now that I know he is gone.

I went to Ingraham High School with Charlie. We both graduated in 1974. We both worked for Shoreline Public Schools in the early 1990s. I used to visit him when we went to Lake Chelan every year. I enjoyed talking to him and I can't believe he's gone. I was looking forward to seeing him this summer in Chelan. I'm really sad I won't get to see him again. He was always fun to talk to; he loved his family.
