Bobby Ray CLUTTER Bobby (Bob) R Clutter, 78, of Bothell, Washington, died August 9th, 2009, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born April 7th, 1931 in Dallas Texas, he was the son of Raymond and Mary Clutter and brother to Opal. In the early 1950's he served in Korea with the U.S. Army where he was trained as a cook and began a lifelong vocational infatuation. As a chef he owned restaurants in Kansas and Texas and indulged his desire for adventure with jobs in Guam, on tug boats in the rivers of Viet Nam, in Alaska on Bering Sea fishing boats and on the oil pipeline in Prudhoe Bay and in the Brooks Range. He is survived by Rachel Clutter of Magna UT, his high school sweetheart, wife and loving mother to his treasured children, Michael (Brenda) Clutter of Bothell WA,; Martin (Cheryl) Clutter of Medical Lake WA,; Michelle (Joe Mercer) of Las Vegas NV.; Marissa Clutter of Kearns UT,; Maureen (Rusty Baeza) of Las Vegas NV, and his beautiful grandchildren Justine, Roberta, Curtis, Tracy, Erin, Stephanie, Ryan and Ethan. Bob was sadly preceded in death by his beloved wife, Katherine (Shipe) Clutter with whom he shared twenty short, wonderful years in Arlington Texas. They were a loving couple whose kindness and generosity benefited the many friends and acquaintances made through Clutter's Hickory House in Grand Prairie Texas. He always had the utmost appreciation for life and living yet he bravely faced his illness knowing he'd soon be reunited with Katherine in heaven. His family and friends gathered to celebrate Bob's life and like Katherine, his ashes will be scattered in the waters of Prince William Sound. Bob was exceptionally grateful for the kind and truly inspired care givers of the Cascade Cancer Center, the Evergreen Hospital Medical Center and A Loving Heart AFH. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Cascade Cancer Center Foundation, 12303 NE 130th Lane, Ste 120, Kirkland WA 98034To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

What a fine man. I met Bob and Katherine at Jack's when I was about fourteen, I will never forget those crazy wild pants he proudly wore. There was no way I could have imagined him in plain jane chef's pants. Bob and Kat gave me my first plants to go in my apartment. I always loved ivy and they gave me an ivy. Such enjoyable people to have known. My sympathy goes out to family and friends, what a fine man we have lost. Let us not mourn selfishly though for we know he is pain free and living his life in peace forever.
