Obituary Condolences

Julie Ann (Thompson) GEIGER September 1, 1958 ~ April 25, 2010 From Black Diamond, WA, Julie was raised in Maple Valley and graduated from Tahoma High Class of '76 where she was a cheerleader, Class VP and National Honors Society Member. A Registered Dental Hygienist for 31 years, Julie graduating from Ft Steilacoom College and worked in the Maple Valley office of Dr Jolley and Dr. Skvorak and Tacoma office of Dr Luzzi. A volleyball enthusiast & kids sports fan, she enjoyed watching her kids, serving as soccer &T-ball coach & board member for Maple Valley Lacrosse. She loved gardening & decorating, displaying both at her home on Lake Sawyer. Bunco and Wine Clubs provided fun and games and the chance to discuss traveling as she enjoyed trips to Europe, Mexico, Hawaii and US & Canada sunny spots. Leisure time was spent on or near the water where she enjoyed skiing, swimming, sunning and skimming books. Julie is survived by husband Doug, kids Kaitlin & Kurt (WSU students), brothers Mick Thompson of Maple Valley & Ron Thompson of Sprague, aunts Sylvia Thompson of Seattle & Jan (and Dr. Bill, kids Dustin & Skye) Drenguis of Yakima. Julie was preceded in death recently by her beloved dad Del Thompson and mom Shirley (Wagner) Thompson. Memorial Services are June 5th at Maple Valley Presbyterian Maple Valley, WA.
