Obituary Condolences

Ronald E. PATNOE Ronald E. Patnoe passed away November 17 leaving his "little house in Tucson, AZ." He is survived by his best friend, partner and wife Nancy; son, Jeffrey Patnoe (Chris) of Seattle, WA; Brenda Patnoe of Seattle; Cathy Patnoe-Brandt (John) of Seattle, and four grandchildren-Cassidy and Charlie Patnoe and Lila and Cooper Brandt. Ron graduated from Bremerton High School in 1952 and received a BA at the University of Washingon where he played basketball and was a member of Delta Upsilon. He was a teacher and counselor for 33 years with Seattle Public Schools. As basketball coach at Garfield High School, he touched the lives of many young athletes. He played at Bremerton High School, the University of Washington, the Buchan Bakers, coached at Garfield High School and the UW, and was a referee and student of the game his entire life. In retirement he and Nancy moved to Tucson, AZ 11 years ago to pursue their love of golf. He was a voracious reader, enjoyed jazz music, golf travel trips, the outdoors and athletic events. At his request, there was a private celebration at his home in Tucson. Please join Ron's family and friends for a Celebration of Life on December 5 at 1:00 p.m. at 1065 E. Prospect, #202 in Seattle, WA. Parking at 11th and Aloha. Donations may be made in his memory to the or a charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to Adair Funeral Homes, Dodge Chapel in Tucson.
