I met the Governor back in 2007. He was very kind and visited with me privately for over an hour, straining his mind to ask my numerous questions. I remember his big smile and friendly demeanor. He gave me a DVD about himself. Since that time I have been a big Rosellini fan, and talk to everyone I know from Washington about him. And I check in regularly on the internet to see how he is doing. I am sad to see him go. He is an American hero. I am sorry for the family's loss, but I am confident the Governor is doing better than ever!

As the nurse in his doctors office, I had many great conversations with the Governor. I always looked forward to his appointments. I've been away for a few years now, but always thought of the Governor and hoped he was well. My thoughts are with his wonderful family at this difficult time.

Condolences to the family. He was a good man who represented his state and his family well. My colleague and I had the pleasure of laying out the red carpet for him every time he came in to see us for any banking needs. He always told me that he appreciated my phone calls every year wishing him a Happy Birthday. Rest in Peace Governor

My mother, Ethel Walk, was an ardent supporter of Governor Rosellini, and worked on his campaign and with him for several years.
She passed away in 2002, but I know she would want me to give the family her heartfelt condolences.

I drove Gov. and Mrs. Roselinni in the Wenatchee Apple Blossom Parade in 1957. They were truly wonderful people. It is because of him, I was able to fullfil my dream in life of becoming a Washington State Patrolman. God bless them both and the Roselinni Family

Longevity is a blessing from God. Governor Rosellini was blessed with 101 years of special mightiness.(Psalm 90:10)
"In themselves the days of our years are seventy years, And if because of special mightiness they are eighty years." May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well-lived.

In 1958, I was 9 years old my Great Grandfather William Morrow had just moved into Asotin, from his wheat ranch at Cloverland, WA. Due to his age the State had taken his driver's license to the relief of his family, they had not yet sold his car though. My great grandfather was a staunch Democrat and while I was visiting I suggested since Governor Rosellini was a Democrat he should write and get his license back. Well he did and in fact the state restored his driving privilage. I don't think the family ever forgave me for making the suggestion. May God have mercy on this good man's soul.

As a child of about 8 years old , I was playing outside my house , when these big cars pulled over and parked and all these really big men got out of the cars and were walking up and down the street , lost. I asked if i could help them, and they asked me where this family lived and I said that I would take them to the house. It was then I found out that he was the Gov. For years to come, he had helped me with school projects , connecting me to other governors. For years, my parents would stop on the way to Portland , where I was able to just drop in to say hello. I saw him many times through the years as I grew up . He will be truly missed and remembered fondly. My prayers to the family for your loss.

A great public servant! I shook hands with him at a picnic when I was five. Years later I told him the story when I met him at the Clinton/Locke meet in Seattle paramount in 1996. He laughed that I must be pretty old! Washington state has lost a great person. He cared deeply about the middle class and poor!

I'm so sorry to hear about his passing. My condolences to his family. Growing up in Lacey I remember being in grade school and visiting the Capital building. We would all be ushered into the Governor's office and he would be there. I remember him being very kind and friendly.
