William D. Pless

Obituary Condolences

William D. PLESS On March 17, 2012 Bill died peacefully at Good Samaritan Hospital surrounded by loving friends and family. He was born November 18, 1959 in Seattle and grew up in Olympia. He graduated from Capital High School before attending the University of Washington where he met his wife of 30 years, Mary Margaret McNeilly. They were married on July 10, 1981 shortly after graduation. Bill's professional career was in sales/sales management. He spent twenty great years at ADP and then the past three working at Expedia where he truly enjoyed both his work and the people. However, the most important part of Bill's life was his family. There was never a day when he didn't treat "his ladies"as if they were queens. Despite how busy he was he always made time for all their activities especially golf tournaments and without fail recognized their accomplishments no matter how big or how small- he was extremely proud of his family. He leaves behind his best friend and wife, Mary Margaret and his two daughters, Cassie (20) and Sammie (18). Also his parents Don and Sandy Pless, sister Sue (Don) Cain, nieces, Brittany and Christy, and father-in-law Bill McNeilly. The Family would like to thank their friends, doctors, Aetna Insurance Company and, especially, Egencia (Expedia) for making a very difficult time easier. In lieu of flowers, we ask for donations in Bill's memory tobe made to a Cancer Research Organization of your choice.A Funeral Mass followed by a reception will be held to celebrate his life on Friday, March 23 (10:30 a.m.) at Holy Rosary Parish in West Seattle.
