A.T. (Ade) Goronsky

Obituary Condolences

A.T. (Ade) GORONSKY A.T. (Ade) Goronsky, an only child, was born of immigrant Lithuanian parents in Seattle on August 23, 1923 and died April 17, 2012. He was a Teamster and drove laundry delivery trucks for decades with Troy Laundry. Ade loved fishing, blackjack, Swedish pancakes, good bourbon and a peaceful cigarette break. But he enjoyed the company of friends and family even more than all those things. The Goronsky household had a known "open door" policy - a convivial place for friends, family, neighbors and the errand toddler to stop in for a visit whenever they were nearby. He is preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Marian, and by his son, Bruce. He is survived by his son Paul Goronsky, of Seattle, daughter-in-law Louise Ure Goronsky of San Francisco, and sisters-in-law Phyllis Albrecht of Kenmore, Washington, Connie Johnson of Centralia, Lucille Michelson of Elgin, North Dakota and Esther Tibke of Carson, North Dakota. We'll be telling stories about him for a long, long time.
