James "Jimmy" Walter DEAN

Jimmy was born and raised in Seattle and passed away peacefully with his family by his side on July 1, 2012. He was the son of Charles and Catherine Dean and is survived by his wife of 43 years Patricia, daughter Erin, son Sean, twin brother Charles, sister Marilyn and his beloved dog Elle. Jimmy was a third generation member of the ILWU. He retired as Business Agent in 2002. Jimmy's passions in life were his family, the ILWU, men's fastpitch softball, his dogs, animals of all shapes and sizes and in recent years NASCAR racing. Services will be held Sat. July 7th at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart, 205 2nd Ave. N. in Seattle with a celebration of his life following at Bogart's, 3924 Airport Way S. from 12 - 4 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Seattle Humane Society or the . Arrangements entrusted to Wiggen & Sons Funeral Home.
