Susan Margaret Foy Obituary
Susan Margaret Foy

Sue was born in Seattle, the eldest of three to John C. "Jack" and Ethel Spinner, and died shortly after saying goodbye to the family she so loved. She attended Holy Names and Seattle University where she met her husband of 53 years, Fred Foy. Loving mother to Fred Foy Jr. (preceded in death), Stephanie Foy Whiting, and son-in-law Bryan Whiting. Loving grandmother to Brennan, Claire and Nate Whiting. Loving sister to Janis Laycock and John C. Spinner II (preceded in death).

Sue's passion in life was to travel and explore other countries and cultures and was only outshone by her love and pride in her grandchildren. "God loves ALL His children," was the axiom she lived by. She carried it out by being a Care Partner through MultifaithWorks, caring for people and families living with HIV/AIDS and through various philanthropic works.

We will miss her so much and are thankful that she is now free from pain and in the embrace of her son, parents and most importantly, God.

Celebration of her life will be August 23 at 11:00 am at St. Barbara Church, 32416 6th Ave., Black Diamond, WA 98010. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Lifelong AIDS Alliance, 1002 East Seneca St., Seattle, WA 98122.
