Ed's daughter Linda is my friend from my Seattle days. I am so sorry for the loss of her Dad. He was a very special man and father and certainly was gifted with many talents to make the world a better and more beautiful place.

it is with sadness that I learn of Ed's passing. Last time I emailed him was a few years ago when I learned about his art work which became his passion at retirement.
As an associate of his firm, which I left in the 1970's to relocate in Montreal, I enjoyed the open multiracial professional environment he and Leon Bridges had fostered as well as the social and environmental sensitivity in his approach to the office's urban planning work particularly.
I offer my sincere condolences to his daughters and grand children and extended family.
May his memory be a light in their life.

I remember Ed and Betty with great fondness. Ed was a few years ahead of me in Architecture school. He and Leon Bridges and Bob Shommler often took me under their wings. I remeined in contact with Ed and Betty throughout our careers. I remember his pride in touring me through his renovation of the Kobe Building...and going on one of Betty's tours of the ID District. They made great contributions to that area...a tour through Ed's website and watercolors is a delight. I especially enjoyed coming upon a portrait of Leon Bridges! All such wonderful folks...and I am sorry to hear of Ed's passing.

Had ver little association with Ed over the years. Remember him from when we were students living in Rainier Vista Housing project. Sad to see a gereat generation going.
