Adele Shuwayhat Zawaideh (84) passed away on November 19th 2012 at Evergreen Adult Home in Renton Washington. Adele, a 50 plus year resident of Shoreline Washington was born in Madaba, Jordan on January 19, 1928 and immigrated to the US with husband Issa Zawaideh (deceased 1967) in December of 1956, along with two of their three children, Tony and Rita. They settled in the Seattle area, where son Michael was born.
Adele retired from Washington Dental after raising her three children in Seattle and was a devoted mother and an enthusiastic participant and supporter within the Seattle area Arab Community. She was a long time parishioner at St. Marks Church in Shoreline.
Adele is survived by children: Tony (Briget) Zawaideh; Rita Zawaideh, and Michael (Deanna) Zawaideh; affectionately known as Teta to Grandchildren: Dunya, Sharif, Nadya, Christina and Tarek; Step-Grandchildren: Laila, Andrea and Tyler and Great-Grandchildren:Rhys, Austin, Laith and Lillian
A Memorial Mass will be held at at St. Mathews Parish located at 1240 NE 127th Seattle, WA 98125, officiated by Father, Samir Abu Lail on Saturday December 8th at 11:00 AM with Food of Mercy following.

In lieu of customary remem-brances, contributions in Adele's memory may be directed to Salaam Cultural Museum, which incorporates the culture of the Middle East along with a better understanding of the people and history of the Arab World. (www.Salaamculturalmuseum.org)
She will be remembered with love and fondness forever more by all that loved and knew her.
