Marilyn R. Mills|
Marilyn R. Mills, born June 21, 1943 left her friends and family to go to Heaven on November 29, 2012.
Marilyn practiced many vocations, ending her working life as a home hospice nurse in the Seattle area. She is remembered fondly by the families of her patients for her care and compassion for their loved ones. An animal-lover, she frequently adopted stray cats and donated to animal rescue organizations. Her loved ones will mostly remember her never-ending spunk, one-liners, feistiness and generosity.
She will never be forgotten as her spirit lives on in family members left behind. Her family will forever feel the loss of her presence and genuinely big, caring heart.
Her greatest pride was her three children, Lisa Robinson, Nicole Gervais and Greg Gervais. She took much joy in her seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Theodore and Althea Sauer. She is survived by her brother Paul Sauer and wife Sharon; along with three nephews and one niece. She will be missed by all her knew her.
The family would like to express sincere gratitude to Dr. Robert Crittenden her primary doctor of many years. Through his care her family enjoyed significant additional time together to build memories.
Per her wishes, a private gathering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made in Marilyn's honor to the Seattle Union Gospel Mission and the Homeward Pet Adoption Center.
