James Edward Tobin, Jr.

Born January 9, 1950 in Duluth, Minnesota, James passed away December 7, 2012. The family moved to Seattle in 1955. Preceded in death by his father James Tobin Sr., brothers Timothy, Joseph, and step-brother Tom Maillet. Survived by his parents John and Joanne Maillet, sisters Christine Yeckley, Angela Maillet and step-sister Janet Sundt, brothers Jonathan Tobin, Mark Maillet and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. James was a seminarian for eight years at St. Martins, followed by ten years as a Navy Corpsman. Next he worked for ten years as Social Services Director for a skilled nursing facility in Bellevue, followed by a "temporary job" as a clerk at Seven-Eleven in Bellevue where he continued to work for over twenty years. James enjoyed his customer and employee relationships. Family events were always a priority for him. He will always be remembered for his loving generosity and vibrant personality. Parents, John and Joanne Maillet will welcome family and friends at an Open House in his memory on Sunday, December 17 at Noon. 13725 SE Somerset Blvd, Bellevue.
