Vito Anthony LaBellarte Jr.

Vito LaBellarte Jr., 75 of Seattle, passed away 12/17/2012. Born on 6/7/1938 to Vito and Margaret LaBellarte Sr. in Seattle, WA.

He attended Our Lady of Mt. Virgin grade school and graduated from Franklin High School in 1955. Went on to Seattle U. before enlisting in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1956-1958 Operation Deepfreeze. After his service he married the love of his life Phyllis Trippy in 1960 whom he's known since grade school. They went on to have four boys: Vito III, Philip, Mark and Paul (Lisbeth).

He was a self employed successful general contractor until retirement. He enjoyed traveling, gardening, playing his accordion, piano and rounds of golf with his close friends. Preceded in death by his parents and his sister Rosann. Survived by his wife, his sons and their children: Vito IV, Stephen, Mark Jr., Anna, Tessa, Ellise and Nicholas whom he loved very much.

Viewing Dec 27 from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Rosary will start at 6:30 at Columbia Funeral Home. Funeral Mass Friday Dec 28 at 10:30 a.m. at Mt. Virgin Church and Entombment at Calvary Cemetery. Donations in Vito's name may be made to University of Washington Medical Center, Medic One, or Mt. Virgin Church.
