Marilyn Inola Magnuson

Marilyn Inola Magnuson died on February 13, 2013 in her own home, with her family present, at the age of 83. She was born on June 24, 1929 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the younger of two daughters born to John and Laverna Larson. She is predeceased by her beloved sister Virginia Hrbacek. She spent the first part of her life in Minnesota, where she married, worked and raised three children. The family relocated to Seattle where she worked for the phone company until her retirement. She was an avid reader, crossword puzzle solver, opera lover, traveler, and adored her grandchildren. Whether known as Mac, Mim, Mom or Granny, she will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her. Marilyn is survived by her three children - Stanley (Karen) Magnuson, Patricia (Dale Dupuis) Magnuson and Joan (Patrick) Mahoney; six grandchildren - Erik (Lisa) Magnuson, Michael (Neva) Magnuson, Aaron (Leslie) Dupuis, Kathleen (E.W.) Fines, Chris Mahoney and Ryan Mahoney; and four great-grandchildren - Calvin Magnuson, Jesse Magnuson, Graysyn and Kellen Fines.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 23 at 2:00 PM at Evergreen Washelli on Aurora Avenue, Seattle.
