Jacqueline "Jackie" Hahn, 84, of Normandy Park, passed away on Saturday, February 16 at her home. She was born April 3, 1928 in Rule, Texas and graduated High School in Socorro, NM where she met and married her lifetime love and devoted husband, Paul.
Jackie had many interests in life including gardening, flower arranging, and cooking; but is best remembered as an accomplished seamstress able to design and sew clothes for her entire family. During later years in her life, she travelled, maintained vegetable gardens, and cared for neighborhood and church friends. Above all, Jackie loved and cared for her family and became a close confidant to sons, daughters, and grandchildren.
Jackie is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, Paul G Hahn; her children: Paul, Susan, and Richard; and her five grandchildren : Amanda, Jessica, Katharine, Spencer and Russell.
A Graveside service will be held Friday February 22, 2013 at 2:00 pm, Riverton Crest Cemetery, 3400 South 140th Street, Tukwila WA. A memorial service is planned for Saturday, March 2nd, 2013 at 11am, at West Seattle Baptist Church, 4157 California Ave SW, Seattle with a reception immediately following.
