Carol Ann Carpenter, 52, of Maple Valley, Washington, passed away on Feb 27, 2013 in Auburn, Washington, at the Auburn Regional Medical Center.
She was born Nov. 19, 1960 to Melba and George Comanich in Seymour, Indiana.
She graduated from Ross S. Sterling High School in Baytown, Texas in 1979. Carol attended Lee College, the University of Texas in Galveston and Austin, before receiving a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Washington.
She married the love of her life, Steven William Carpenter, on Nov 24, 1984, in Baytown. After marriage, they lived in the Seattle, Washington area where they lived several years. They moved to League City, Texas in 1998 and Maple Valley, Washington in 2006.
Carol is survived by her husband, Steven, two daughters, Rachael Leanna and Amy Grace, son Johnathan Seth and beloved cat, Ruby. She is also survived by her parents Melba and George Comanich, sister Camilla Comanich and brother Charles Comanich. Also, mother-in-law Betty Carpenter, brothers-in-law Scott Compton and Scott Carpenter, sister-in-law Lori Comanich and nephew Canon Comanich, as well as an aunt, uncle and numerous cousins.
She loved her church, her family, her friends and her home, as well as art, crafts, music, camping and hiking in nature.
A memorial service will be held Saturday March 9, 2013 at Peace Lutheran Church in Kent, Washington.
She is much loved and missed.
