September 23, 1924 ~ March 3, 2013
Arthur Ray Coffman, father of daughters Adrienne, Antonia and Stacey, and son-in-laws Frank and Mardig, passed away on March 3, 2013 at the age of 88.
Born in 1924 in Seattle, Washington, Ray graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1942. Friendships he formed during those years lasted a lifetime. He went on to attend the University of Washington prior to serving time in the US Army stationed in Burma during WWII. He married Donna Zoe Hammer in 1947.
Throughout the 1960's and 70's Ray, along with partner Dick Ollinger, grew the highly successful Harris Ford dealership, one of the largest on the West Coast. Upon retiring in 1982, he spent most of his time between his two beloved residences, Lake Goodwin and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico...and on the golf course, achieving an astounding three hole-in-ones in his golf 'career.'
A few of Ray's favorite things that brought him great joy over the years: poker, gin rummy, golf, Frank Sinatra music, his wonderful circle of family and friends.
A Celebration of Ray's life will be held Saturday, April 13 at the Tulalip Hotel in Marysville, WA between 1:30-4:30 p.m.
