Lois Barbara Hansen, 82, of Auburn, Washington, passed away on March 6, 2013 in Burien, Washington at Highline Hospital.
She was born September 6, 1930 to Helen and Roy Nelson in Spring Lake, Minnesota. She graduated from South High in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1948. She married the love of her life, Harold John Hansen, in Arlington, Virginia on April 5, 1957.
Lois is survived by her husband, Harold; daughters Pamela Myrick of Longmont, Colorado, Michele Tucker (Larry) of Springfield, Missouri, Amy McNeil (Glen) of Normandy Park, Washington as well as one son, David Hansen of Houston, Texas. She is also survived by five grandchildren: Erin, Mitchell, Nile, Hayley and Kanani; four great-grandchildren: Shea, Makenzie, Gaites, and Riley; and by her brother Lowell Nelson (Darlene) of Duluth, Minnesota. Lois was preceded in death by one grandson, Wiley Tucker.
She devoted her life to her family, loved her home, church, and
friends, as well as cooking, crafts, reading, traveling, volunteering at PICC, taking cruises, and going to antique & estate sales.
A memorial service will be held Friday, April 5, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church in Auburn, Washington.

She is much loved and will be missed.
