Cheryl, you were always a true friend to me and encouraged me to be the best person I could and to always be there supporting the youth.

As an interim Principal of Franklin High School, Cheryl began the renaissance of the FHS community. She brought a sense of purpose, dignity and joy in an era where leadership had lagged. She inspired staff and students alike. I'm honored to have been a teacher under her leadership.

Cheryl was deeply respected within the "community" and throughout Seattle. She definitely made an impact on the City Council. May God Bless her and her family.

Mrs. Chow taught me to run the high hurdles on the track behind Asa Mercer. She was my J.H. School P.E. teacher. She was a very sweet person. My condolences to her entire family.
