Dorothy Jean Reimer, 83, of Bothell, WA, died May 5, 2013.
She was born to the late William Strong and Helen Dale, July, 1929 in Elkhart, Indiana. Dorothy graduated and received a BA in English from the University of Indiana. She married the late Bob Reimer in 1967, and they happily shared living in both Seattle, WA and Hoodsport, WA for many years. Dorothy later moved to Bothell, WA.
Dorothy was in the insurance industry with St. Paul Insurance in Seattle until she retired and opened her own gift store in Hoodsport, WA . She assisted Bob in running their family business, Village Shell Gas Station (later known as Village Texaco) located in the University Village area. They had many loyal customers and friends that supported them from the University of Washington and the nearby area.
Dorothy and Bob loved to travel to Hawaii where they had many happy times and memories. She loved to garden, listen to music and to dance. She worshipped her grandkids and great grandkids.
Dorothy was an avid supporter of Medic One and the Bothell Firefighters Association.
Dorothy is survived by four children: Nancy Clark; Sally Mars (George), Marilyn Cook and David Cook (Karen); She also is survived by 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
