Frances Waldrip Obituary

Frances Josephine Waldrip

Frances Josephine Waldrip, nee Nergaard, passed on June 28, 2013 after a long and hard fought battle with COPD and emphysema. She was holding hands with her sweetheart. She was born March 20, 1932 in Miles City, Montana to Arthur and Josephine (Vest) Nergaard, joining big brother Dale.

She met her lifelong love, Ted Waldrip at age 13 in Havre, Montana and married him 5 years later. August 22nd would have been their 63rd wedding anniversary.

Frances is survived by husband Ted, son Michael, daughter and son-in-law Sandy and Kevin Brooks, grandson and wife Kasey and Vanessa (who shared Mom's birthday) and great-grandson Kelby Brooks, brother and sister-in-law Dale and Barbara (lifelong friends and high school badminton champions), her very special aunt and uncle Dorothy (Dot) and Bob Smith, sisters-in-law June Karfstedt, Neomia Bitterman, Carolee Walls, Linda and David Swallow and extended family too numerous (seriously!) to name, but they are all loved and remembered fondly. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, July 8, 2013 at Yahn & Son Funeral Home in Auburn, WA. Please visit www.yahnandson.com to sign the online register.
