100 years of an amazing life spent enjoying her beloved family and multitude of friends. Mary was born, raised and married Ernest Iszley in Fairview, Montana in 1935. The family moved to Seattle in 1942. Mary and Ernest raised their family in the Seattle area where she worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 30 years; retiring in 1973. She loved to drive their Cortez motor home all over the U.S., into Canada and Mexico with Ernest then being disabled. Mary especially enjoyed being active in NARFE, the retired organization of Federal employees. She worked decades, diligently gathering vast family genealogy, using the computer right up to her last year. Mary was preceded in death by Ernest in 1992 after 57 years marriage. Surviving are 5 children/spouses: Sons, Melvin/ Darlene Iszley; Donald/Sharon Iszley and Henry/Julie Iszley and daughters: Constance/Albert Swanson; and Barbara/Richard Holman. Also, 20 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and 4 great, great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held September 21, 2013 at the Community of Christ Church at 1:00 p.m. 4820 So. Morgan Street, Seattle, WA 98118. Contributions may be sent to the Community of Christ Church, P. O. Box 18469, Seattle, WA 98118.
