Dulcie Louise Sahlberg Obituary
Dulcie Louise Sahlberg

Dulcie passed on to the Lord on 8-10-13 after a long battle with congestive heart failure. She was 82. We will miss her so very much.

She was born to Frank and Dorothy Gomersall on 11-13-30, in Portland, Oregon, and was the oldest of the Gomersall's two girls, the youngest being Nancy. She met the love of her life, Arthur (Jack) Sahlberg at Grant High School in Portland, Oregon, and graduated in 1948. Jack and Dulcie married in 1950 and went on to produce 5 children. They were married 63 years. Over the years, Dulcie was active in Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile, Queen City Yacht Club Tarretts (Past President), and church activities. She spent countless hours with children and grandchildren and was generous and loving.

Dulcie was preceded in death by her sister Nancy Bauman (Ralph), her nephew James D. Robertson (Kathy), and her nephew Paul J Davisson (Annie).

Dulcie is survived by her husband, Jack Sahlberg, her children, Carole S Bark (Roger), Julia D Sahlberg, John F Sahlberg (Sharon), Robert J Sahlberg, and Liane M Knudson (Eric). Her grandchildren, Matthew Loftis, Jon Loftis, Rachell Knudson (Nick), Leif Knudson (Jenae), Jenna Knudson, Tara Sahlberg, Trey Sahlberg, Chloe Lopez (Noel), Annie Davisson, Ethan Sahlberg (Bethany), Katie McGuire, Alicia Gunderson (Arnie), and John Paul McLaughin (Haley).
