Judd Neil Rathbun Obituary
Judd Neil Rathbun

Judd Neil Rathbun was born on March 31, 1927 in New Windsor, Illinois and passed away on September 2, 2013 at Ballard Rehabilitation and Care Center in Seattle. He was predeceased by his parents Dr. Frederick Judd and Anna Rathbun and his sisters Margaret Robb and Harriet Moody. He attended New Windsor High School, Monmouth College, proudly served two years in the U.S. Navy and played the drums in a jazz band in his younger years. He moved with his family to Issaquah in 1959 to work for Boeing. Sister Harriet lived in Seattle. Two of the joys in his later years were the birth of his first great grandchild in April of 2013 and reconnecting with his nephew after many years of being apart. He is survived by his children, Emily Carlyon (Bill), Melinda Rathbun (Becky), Frederick Rathbun, his granddaughters Melanie McCracken (Tommy), Alyson Klein (Terence), great granddaughter Mira Belle McCracken, Nephew Richard Moody, Niece Jane Davis, cousin Gloria McKie and ex-wife Glory Boynton. Dad was quite a character, loved jazz and was a "Friend of Bill" (AA)for 45 years.
