Roger L. Decker|
Roger Decker, 78, died peacefully on Monday, March 24, 2014. He was born on July 6, 1935, and raised in Three Rivers Michigan. He served in the Korean War as a construction surveyor in the U.S. Army. He graduated from the Univ. of Florida with an accounting degree, and a law degree from Duke Univ.
He and wife, Marlene, moved to Seattle where he joined the law firm of Helsell Fetterman. Two years later, he formed his own law firm of Boyd & Decker in Bellevue where he continued practicing law for 35 years. Upon retiring, they moved to East Wenatchee joining the Wenatchee Golf & Country Club. Golfing away their winters in Green Valley, they enjoyed their outdoor activities and the sun.
He leaves behind his loving wife Marlene of 54 years and his 4 sons; Dave, of Redmond; Ron (Isabel), Las Vegas; Dale, Bothell; Mark (Janelle), Everett; and 7 precious grandchildren Faith, Grace, Hope, Kate, Jack, Ryan and Drew.
A private family memorial was held at Rogers request.
