Ticiang and I were college classmates at the U. of Chicago. She was a wonderful friend, one of the most unique people I've ever known. She had a brilliant mind and a big heart. Don't know if she continued to giggle in her later years, but I'll never forget how infectious her giggle could be. The younger of the two photos of her here conveys the joy, wryness, and astonishment with which she greeted the world.

To the Family of Ticiang Diangson,
So sorry to be missing the celebration of Ticiang's life today, her birthday, due to illness. I was also shocked and saddened to hear of her passing.
Ticiang was a long time customer of our gallery to purchase Clifton
Karhu calendars every year. I always looked forward to talking with and seeing her during the holidays for pick up. She had such a
positive energy with a fun and humorous persona. She always put
me in a joyful mood. Although her bright light will no longer shine I will keep her memory in my heart forever.
Wishing you heart's ease with my deepest sympathy.

Such a shock to see the obituary of a woman whom I admired so much who was so full of life. Ticiang worked with my husband, David Hunter, who considered her a very good friend. I remember bringing big bouquets of flowers to her wedding with Greg, which David had cut from our garden. Marie Ruby

I am so sorry we have lost Ticiang. She was a great fighter until the end. I first met her when she was lobbying school finance at the Seattle PUblic Schools Budget Committee. We put her on the committee, Then she lobbied the Solid Waste Utility. We hired her into the Utility. She has made such a difference. Such spirit, such energy, such commitment. I am sorry I will be out of town for her recognition. but, she will always remain in my heart for all the good that she has done.

I meet Ticiang in the early 90's when she hired me for graphic design jobs for the utilities when they introduced recycling to Seattle. I was inspired by her and admire her tenacity for overseeing a project that was new, huge and conterversial at the time! Was shocked to see her name in the obituary - RIP, Ticiang - you will not be forgotten.

Ticiang was a very inspiring person. She possessed a beautiful aura and an awesome spirit. I am so sorry I will be out of town the day of her service but I am sure many will be there for her farewell send off. We both retired from the City of Seattle, Public Utilities Department. Though not directly in her group she inspired many and was a beacon for many individuals. I know you are RIP Ticiang.

Ticiang was a good friend of the Seattle Public Utilities Recognition Committee, and an irreplaceable advocate for social justice, recognition, training, and fairness to employees. A wonderful person who will be sorely missed. Bonnie Stenzel, SPU Retired
