My condolences to Michael's family. I remember Michael as an activist for social justice in Seattle from 1969 into the early 70's. Michael had such an enthusiasm for life and often had a smile in what were often challenging times.

In Seattle when you talk about the Movement you talk about Michael, and his story will continue to live with us and as a result will live with others as well. When a story such as Michael's is told, it is not forgotten, it becomes something else, the memory of who we were, the hope of what is possible, the dream of who we can become.

Pattie, I am so sorry about Michael. As kids we shared so much all through PS 66, Bennett, and of course, Camp Lakeland. He was a brilliant guy with an amazing wit. I love the adorable photo you chose.

Michael and I were housemates in two Ballard homes. He was the nicest guy and funny! His sense of humor was priceless. I have thought of him often over the years but lost contact.
I'm sorry to hear of his, passing. If there are any services for him in the Seattle area, I would like to attend.
Condolences to the family. ,Patricia, we met once a long time ago.
