I worked with Doug for the Liquor Control Board on north Queen Anne Hill in Seattle from 1976-1980 when I was in my late 20's. He always made me laugh because he had such a great sense of humor. And I was quite amazed that I was working with a guy who did the voices for some of my favorite cartoon characters! He certainly did live a long life. My sincere condolences to the family.

We lived across the street, mid-block, from the Young's for nearly 38 years. The sounds of jazz on a summer's night, the "sharing" of that gorgeous Siamese cat, the friendships and humor made our little street happy! What wonderful folks for a neighborhood. As we say, "Those were the days." Our sympathies to the family.
Fondly, Kathy & Ross Ardrey and children.
