Obituary Condolences

David M. ALHADEFF Born March 18, 1921 in Seattle. Died peacefully on September 1, 2004 in Seattle. Graduated from Garfield High School in 1940, he was a proud member of the Golden Grads of Garfield High. He served his country in WWII in the US Coast Guard. He was retired from David-Royal Associates where he was a principal in the insurance industry for many years. Married for more than 58 years to his devoted and loving wife, Elizabeth, of Bellevue, who survives him, along with his daughter Maureen Benoliel (Joel) and son, Mark Alhadeff (Joan), and grandchildren Ty Alhadeff, Joe Benoliel, and Ben Alhadeff. Also survived by his sisters Bernice Ovadia and Rachel Baruch (Isaac), many nephews, nieces, and cousins, of whom he was very proud. He was a proud and devoted member of Congregation Ezra Bessaroth, and was a past President of B'nai B'rith. Funeral service at Evergreen Washelli, 11111 Aurora Avenue North, Seattle, at 11:00 AM on September 2, 2004, with internment to follow at the Seattle Sephardic Brotherhood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to American Heart Association or City of Hope. The family expresses its special gratitude to Dr. Lester Sauvage. His caring and skill enabled David to enjoy a happy and extended life.
