She was preceded in death by her husband, George, on March 26, 1988; four sisters;  Jenny Nease, Jean Meyers, Minnie Morrison, and Lou McKaid, and one brother, Jim Case.

She liked to garden, mow her lawn, and at age 90 was still driving herself to Clinton to the doctor, to Warrensburg, if needed, and most important of all to Sedalia for lunch with her brother's children, a pleasure she pursued at least twice a week. Her last four years were spent in and out of hospitals and nursing homes until November of 2009, she became a resident at the Country Club Care Center in Warrensburg where she made many friends of staff and residents.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday morning, June 18, 2011, at the Davis-Miller Funeral Home in Lincoln, Missouri, with Rev.  Herb Sadler officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home prior to the services. Burial will be in the Lincoln Cemetery, Lincoln, Missouri.
