Angeline L. Ameye, age 77, passed away February 18, 2008, in her home, with her family at her side. She was born May 7, 1931 in Stover, MO, daughter of Clara and Herman Young.
Ann proudly married Donald F. Ameye on August 30, 1956, and moved to Midland Park, NJ. As mother and housewife, she had 2 children, Karen and Donald Jr.
In 1975 she and Don moved to Warsaw, and in 1979 they bought Dix Bar, when 17 years of fun began! She is survived by her soul mate Lewis Hennin, children: Karen Kokesh of Chesterfield, MO and Donald F. Ameye Jr. of Springfield, MO; Grandchildren: Nathan Ameye of Broomfield, Colorado, and Krista Meyer of Wildwood, MO; Sister: Jeanette Holeman of Sedalia; Brother: Reno Young of Alabama; extended family: Terry Hennin of Okalahoma, Sandy Colwell of St. Joseph, MO, and Jackie Hale of St. Joseph, MO; and nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Ann is preceded in death by her husband Donald Ameye (Nov. 20, 1992) brothers Herbert Young and Harding Young, and sister Berdell Campbell.
Funeral Services will be at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at the Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw. Burial will be in the Shawnee Cemetery, Warsaw. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday evening at the funeral home.
