Juanita K. Bauer, 88, died Sunday, July 9, 2012 comforted in the arms of Jesus. She was born May 29, 1924, the daughter of Norman and Eleanora (Kirchoff) Meyer. Juanita and Michael Bauer were married on May 27, 1956. Michael preceded her in death in December, 1978.
Juanita was a wonderful and loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. She was very active in Our Savior Lutheran Church and it's LWML, Bible studies and numerous other church activities.
Juanita worked at Butternut Bakery for several years.
Juanita is survived by her children, Kathy (Darrell) Meisenheimer and Fred (Diane) Bauer; 3 grandchildren, Amy (Stacy) Young, Tony (Trisha) Meisenheimer and Kevin Meisenheimer; 4 great grandchildren, Alex and Shelby Young and Ginna and Olivia Meisenheimer.
In addition to her husband, Juanita was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be at 10:00AM, Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, with Pastor Christoper Kellogg officiating. Burial will be in the Cole Camp Cemetery.
Juanita's family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00PM at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home.
