Anna Marie (Annie Chism) Griggs, 65, of Sedalia, died Friday, September 20, 2013, at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City.
She was born February 14, 1948, the daughter of Jim and Catherine (Dolinski) Chism. She married Charles Griggs on March 10, 1967. He survives of the home.
She is also survived by two sons, Charlie and Michael, of Sedalia; a sister, Peggy Chism, of Leavenworth; and several extended family members and friends.
Annie loved to read and work jigsaw puzzles and take care of her extended family. She will be missed by many.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 24, at Heckart Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to St. Luke's Foundation, attention Heart Transplant Unit.
