Chick, Marilyn - Windsor  
CHICK WINDSOR - Marilyn Chick, 80, of Windsor, died Friday, Dec. 19, 2014, at the Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City after a long struggle with cancer. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014, at the Hadley Funeral Home in Windsor, with the Rev. Peggy Eshelman officiating. Burial will be in the Calhoun Cemetery in Calhoun. The family will receive friends one hour before the service from 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Hadley Funeral Home.

Crocker, Nancy*  
Nancy Catherine Crocker Nancy Catherine Crocker was born December 20, 1921 the fourth daughter of Willie and Nancy Breshears Henderson in the Fairfield, Mo. area. She passed away peacefully and went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, December 23, 2014. She graduated from Warsaw High School in 1940 and attended Southwest Baptist College at Bolivar, Mo. while teaching four years in the rural schools. She then worked at Pratt and Whitney until the end of the war. On August 31, 1946, she was united in marriage to Henry Crocker in North Kansas City. Henry preceded her in death on March 26, 1967, cutting the marriage short after twenty years. As the children were coming, they moved from the city to a farm south of Stover to raise them. She kept the farm going with cattle and brooding turkeys and raising chickens, field work, too. As the children graduated from school it was time for her to find easier work. She worked and served as postmaster at Lincoln, Mo. for fifteen years. Nancy was a member of Brauersville Immanuel Lutheran Church. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, and crocheting and belonged to the Lincoln Quilt Club and the Spoonbill Quilter's Guild. She did volunteer work for a few years at the Christian Outreach in Lincoln, and belonged to the Nursing Home Guild. She enjoyed being a member of the Red Hat Society. She is survived by five loving children; daughters, Carolyn Schowengerdt, Marilyn Williams and husband Jim, Rosalyn Blankenship and husband Gaithel, Mary Ellen Johnson and husband Art, and son, Larry Crocker. Thirteen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren, sister, Lucille Sherman and sisters-in-law, Mary Lee White and Bonnie Henderson and many, many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, Imogene Henderson, Goldena Trolinger, brothers, Bill and James and great-granddaughter, Mia Johnson. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Brauersville Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Cole Camp, with Pastor Gary Wahlers officiating. Burial will be in Brauersville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until service time on Saturday at the church. The family suggests memorial contributions be given to Brauersville Immanuel Lutheran Church in care of the Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp. Pall bearers will be Jimmy Williams, Shawn Johnson, Johnathan Williams, Matthew Blankenship, Kyle Emmons, Dana Hansen and Chris Mullinix.
